'Pasta on Parade' Norwood street party 6-9pm
We welcome in the New Year with a stand at the 'Pasta on Parade' street party to coincide with 2012 Tour Down Under stage 4 BUPA Challenge Ride. Participants will be able to collect their jerseys from 6.30pm outside Norwood Oval, then wander up The Parade for a carb load of pizza and pasta! Of course a glass of vino to calm the nerves will be needed before the ride begins at 6.30am the next morning outside Norwood Town Hall! Families and friends and anyone who wants to be part of the buzz, will find us on the southern side next to the pedestrian crossing on The Parade. Enjoy a glass or two with your meal while lapping up the festive atmosphere on a perfect summer evening!

NEW CITY CELLAR DOOR OPENS
We have now officially opened our newly renovated cellar door/tasting facility at 14 Sydenham Rd Norwood, South Australia. This is the first Limestone Coast 'city cellar door', which promises to give customers and trade a more convenient way to access our family vineyards 3.5 hours south-east of Adelaide. As well as direct sales,the facility is ideal for group functions (by appointment only), in the form of tastings, corporate lunches or larger gatherings in the warehouse and we welcome any enquiries. Heathfield Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon World Class
In the competitive world of wine, it is good to know that we can once again hold our heads high, with a Gold Medal for the 2008 Heathfield Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon at the recent 2011 International Wine Challenge in London. This most recent award follows on from the Gold medal awarded to the 2005 vintage of the same wine and also a spate of other recognitions lately for our premium estate grown range of red and white varietals. Also, of note was the judge's vote for the best Sauvignon Blanc at the 2010 " SA Wine of the Year". We trust you agree this Gold medal reinforces our standing amongst the other prominent Limestone Coast family run wine producers.

Best Sauvy at SA Wine of the Year awards !!
“A very savvy little sauvy” is turning a few heads both inside and outside the wine industry, with another top accolade, winning the judges award for the best Sauvignon Blanc at the 2010 South Australian Wine of the Year awards. This follows on from the success earlier this year at the 2010 Royal Queensland Wine Show, where the same wine won the only Gold Medal in its class.This recent award is added to previous successful vintages of the Heathfield Ridge Sauvignon Blanc, the 2005 vintage being also awarded ‘SA Wine of the Year 2005' in its category by both consumer and professional judges alike.

Mark Launer, our new vineyard manager, replaces Neil Jones who after many years of loyal service has decided to move on. Mark has extensive experience in vineyard management on the Limestone Coast. He brings new enthusiasm to grape growing at Tidswell Wines and we welcome him and his family to Heathfield.

2005 Heathfield Ridge Reds now released !!
The new vintages of Heathfield Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz are under screw cap closure. Accompanied by a new bottle the package looks stunning. The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon been already been awarded at Gold medal at this year's San Francisco International Wine Competition further adding to the reputation of the Heathfield Ridge Reds and Tidswell Wines medal tally.

Medal success in USA.
Tidswell Wines continues its run of international medal success at the San Francisco International Wine Competition. The 2003 Heathfield Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon won Gold, the soon to be released 2004 'Jennifer' Cabernet Sauvignon won Silver and the 2004 Heathfield Ridge Shiraz won Bronze. Three wines and three medals a 100% strike rate !!.
