2006 Heathfield Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2006 Heathfield Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon has matured superbly after twenty months in mainly French oak barrels. A long, warm autumn produced fruit with intense berry flavours and velvety tannins. A bouquet of violets and cedar nuances are balanced to convey a seamless palate, slightly spicy with a lingering finish. Although drinking well now, if cellared correctly this wine can be confidently kept until 2016 and will only improve with age.
